Stage Awareness- Mart Blom

Mart Blom is a teacher of stage awareness at the classical music department of the ArtEZ University of the Arts and she has her own performance coaching practice for musicians in Amsterdam. Trained as a classical singer and haptotherapist (haptotherapy is a form of body/mind/feeling awareness) she works with musicians on topics such as relaxation in body and mind, focus and concentration in the music and how to use breath as a tool for these things.

In the workshop you will get practical tools for grounding the body, dealing with tension through breathing and accepting your thoughts and feelings.

You will work on your specific issues concerning performing, studying, concentrating, staying in the moment and presenting yourself in your most comfortable and authentic way. This will be done with group exercises and in playing pieces for each other in order to practice the skills.
